Astraler

A theater concert in public space for families with children. "Astraler" is a free outdoor performance for children. In this interactive and non-verbal performance, the audience meets three strange creatures in large and mysterious costumes. These are three "Astrals" who have arrived on Earth in search of new musical talents! They love music, but where they come from, they don't use ordinary instruments, but the strangest things that make sound. The core of the performance is about embracing being different and daring to express yourself freely. The performance is well suited for families with children. Since large parts of the performance are based on improvisation with the audience and the children, the length of the performance will vary from 20-40 minutes. The performance ends with a small theater concert where the children participate and play. The project is funded by Oslo municipality and Oslo Theater Center, with contributions from Leikhus.
