Beskrivelse
KAASIN takes the stage at Herr Nilsen on Saturday 8 August at 21:00, ready to deliver a powerful evening of melodic hard rock, weight and nerve.
KAASIN is current with their new album The Underworld, a darker and more atmospheric chapter in the band's development, but still firmly anchored in classic hard rock. Here strong melodies meet a heavy, modern soundscape, and the result is both timeless and fresh at the same time.
The band was started by guitarist Jo Henning Kaasin, known from collaborations with the likes of Glenn Hughes and Joe Lynn Turner. Together with bassist Ståle Kaasin, he has built a band with a clear vision: to create modern hard rock with a classic spirit and a distinct identity.
At the front is vocalist Jan Thore Grefstad, known from TNT and Saint Deamon. With his powerful and expressive voice, he lifts KAASIN to a level few Norwegian bands match live. They are also joined by drummer Per Morten Bergseth, known from Jorn and Wig Wam, and keyboardist Erling Henanger, who adds breadth and dynamics to the soundscape.
The debut album Fired Up was praised by both press and audiences, and voted "Album of the Year" by the readers of Rockman. With over 1.3 million streams and international radio success, KAASIN has already established themselves as a name to reckon with in European hard rock.
This will be an evening for those who love real, melodic hard rock with roots in the classic, delivered with punch, joy of playing and top musicians on stage.
