Odeon's style can best be described as New Orleans and Latin American chamber music where the inspiration is drawn from New Orleans revival jazz from around the 1940s/50s, represented by musicians such as George Lewis and Bunk Johnson. The quintet's repertoire reflects a broad spectrum of melodies; ballads, standards, hymns and not least choros and Creole waltzes from among others Panama, Venezuela and Brazil, with composers such as Ernesto Nazaret, Lionel Belasco, Luiz Americano and Ernesto Lecuona.
