A gathering on what it actually takes to navigate mental health. Mental health isn’t a destination. It’s not something you fix and move on from. It’s messy. It’s ongoing. Some days you’re fine. Some days you’re not. And most days, you’re somewhere in between - doing the work, figuring it out, and trying to stay okay. Unwell is an honest conversation about that reality. No clinical frameworks, and no toxic positivity. Just people navigating mental health daily sharing what’s working, what’s not, and the practical tools that help them thrive (or at least survive). What to expect: * Conversations and talks: Honest reflections from people living with mental health challenges. Not polished or performative. Just real. * Open conversations: Facilitated discussions where we explore themes like shame, medication, therapy, burnout, rest, boundaries, and what progress actually looks like when it’s not linear. * Practical tools: Not theory or platitudes. Real strategies people use daily to manage anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and everything in between. * Community: A room full of people who get it. Who know that being unwell doesn’t make you broken. It makes you human. Who this is for: Anyone navigating mental health. Anyone tired of performing wellness. Anyone who wants to hear honest stories from people who aren’t pretending to have it all figured out. What we believe: * Mental health is not a moral failing. It’s a reality millions of people navigate daily. * Progress is not linear. Some days are better than others. That’s okay. This is not about fixing you. It’s about naming what’s real and finding community in that honesty. * You don’t need to be “healed” to be whole. * Shame has no place in this conversation. * Something that actually helps - more often than not - is hearing someone else say: this is what it was like for me, and this is what I did. * Community matters. We don’t thrive alone.
