Some grown-ups don’t believe you can fall in love when you’re only nine years old. But you can! Totally True Love (Jørgen + Anne = sant) is based on the novel by Vigdis Hjorth that touched many young readers in the mid-1980s. The film introduces us to the tough and strong-willed Anne Lunde, a fifth grader who one day falls head over heels for the new boy in class, Jørgen Ruge. But Anne faces a big challenge when it turns out the prettiest girl at school is also in love with him. Unlike Anne, she has a perfect ponytail, fashionable clothes, and even appears in a TV commercial. Anne, however, refuses to be intimidated and takes up the competition with the help of her best friend.
