The Brief

Dahl’s organic band has grown, and tonight they celebrate a new release! Composer and saxophonist Amalie Dahl’s acclaimed band Dafnie was expanded last year into Dafnie EXTENDED, achieving great success at international festivals such as Moldejazz and Jazzfest Berlin. With seven additional musicians, the ensemble explores an even richer and more powerful sound world, delving into energy, texture, and expression on a larger scale. The concerts were met with strong enthusiasm from both audiences and critics - “a highlight of the entire festival!” Tonight marks the release of the live album Live at Moldejazz, out on double vinyl.
