Ancient Italian poems are reimagined through sound, form, and intuitive expression as composer Andrea S. Giordano collaborates with OJKOS – The Orchestra of Jazz Composers in Oslo. The music explores new meeting points between roots and becoming, where the past resonates in spaces not yet spoken. Founded in 2018 in collaboration with Østnorsk Jazzsenter and Victoria – National Jazz Scene, OJKOS is a collective of professional jazz composers who take turns leading the ensemble and creating new works.
