Arild Andersen Quartet – 80th Celebration with an All-Star Lineup! Just weeks before turning 80, legendary bassist Arild Andersen celebrates where he belongs – on stage with his favorite musicians of the younger generation. A cornerstone of Norwegian and international jazz since the late 1960s, Andersen continues to perform and record with undiminished energy. With nearly 100 concerts together, the quartet delivers acoustic, powerful and lyrical jazz – intimate yet explosive. The evening continues with Petter’s Jazz Jam, led by pianist Petter Dalane, inviting musicians and audience alike to join the true spirit of the jazz club.
