The Brief

With playful interplay and an energetic presence, Bliss Quintet has quickly established itself as an exciting name on the Norwegian jazz scene. Their music spans dramatic ballads, powerful horn riffs, complex rhythms, and open, improvisational soundscapes - in the tradition of bands like Atomic and Masqualero. The band released Glasshouse on Jazzland Recordings in 2023, followed by an international tour and performances at festivals such as Moldejazz and Nattjazz. This autumn saw the release of Live at Nattjazz, a strong live document from a tight and ambitious ensemble.
