Children's Jazz Stage

The musicians of Children's Jazz Stage have practiced and practiced and are more than ready for the season finale. Maybe there will be a Christmas tune or two as well? Welcome to a monthly concert series that over several seasons has delighted and impressed us, and it seems that Victoria has a stage edge at just the right height for the young performers. The budding jazz talents perform gems from the standard jazz repertoire, and play with a conviction you rarely see matched. We promise a great atmosphere, intense interplay and playful improvisation at a high level. The students come from both the Oslo area and the rest of the country, and after concerts, festivals and tours in both Norway and around the world have gained considerable stage experience. Improbasen is supported by Norsk kulturråd, Sparebankstiftelsen and the City of Oslo.
