Children's Jazz Stage

Children's Jazz Stage is ready for a new autumn with wonderful concerts, and we are looking forward to it! Come and experience great musical understanding and enormous talents up close at Victoria. The concert is suitable for a wide audience, where children and youth, families, adults and the elderly – whether experienced or less familiar with the universe of jazz – are welcome to be inspired and impressed. Both Oslo residents and visitors are encouraged to bring children and young people to the concert, and let them meet skilled and well-rehearsed young musicians playing live jazz. An afternoon of joy and inspiration! The musicians belong to Improbasen, Oslo's own children's jazz school, which teaches children aged 7-15 in jazz improvisation. The students come both from the Oslo area and from the rest of the country, and have gained considerable stage experience after concerts, festivals and tours in both Norway and the rest of the world. Improbasen is supported by the Norwegian Arts Council, Sparebankstiftelsen and the City of Oslo.
