The Brief

Noisy, Poetic, and Symphonic in an Ever-Expanding Universe Ten years after their last release as BOL&SNAH, they reunite - this time with reinforcements. Musicians from the next generation are invited in, and material from BOL’s catalogue, along with previously unreleased pieces, has been rearranged for a dynamic monster band. The result is open, noisy, poetic, and rock-driven - genre-blending at its most beautiful. BOL (Tone Åse, Ståle Storløkken, and Tor Haugerud) share a long creative history spanning free improvisation, prog rock, and conceptual productions. The collaboration with Hans Magnus “SNAH” Ryan began in 2011 and led to Numb, Number (2012) and So? Now? (2015).
