Daniel Herskedal Trio – Movements of Air From gentle breezes to storming intensity! In April the trio released their fifth album Movements of Air, a stunning work where Daniel Herskedal’s singular tuba sound is carried by Eyolf Dale’s airy piano and Helge Andreas Norbakken’s powerful Nordic drumming. The music flows with hope, energy and playfulness – shifting from introspective calm to driving, almost storm-like momentum. Herskedal has recently composed for film, podcasts and major orchestras, but with this trio the music shines most vividly live at Victoria.
