The Brief

Commissioned by Vossajazz – turned into groovy folk-rock! Hanna Paulsberg is one of Norway’s most versatile jazz musicians – known from her own projects, GURLS, Flukten, and collaborations with Karin Krog and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. For her 2024 Vossajazz commission, she drew inspiration from her first musical spark: the folk-rock band Little Village. The result is a vibrant mix of folk, blues, latin, and rock – full of groove and played by some of her favorite musicians. Expect music from the commission plus brand new material!
