The Brief

Havfolket is a witty, grand, and uninhibited declaration of love to coastal people, and an expansion of the story of what it means to be Norwegian. The film combines unique archival footage with powerful voices from the coast, exploring how life close to the sea and far from the centers of power has shaped coastal people’s temperament, way of life, and outlook on existence. When you arrive at Odeon, go to “Bookings” in the app and tap “Check in.” Your ticket(s) will then appear. * If you don’t show up without cancelling within the deadline, a fee of 200 NOK will be charged. * With a Duo membership, you will automatically be seated together.
