We are delighted to invite you to an extra Christmas Swing concert, as the first announced show is already close to selling out! One of our finest traditions is the Christmas concerts with Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen and her brilliant orchestra. Warmth, intimacy, humor, and gravity go hand in hand and even within a tradition, Hilde Louise always finds a way to surprise. Asbjørnsen is truly a complete artist. She takes command of any stage, radiating energy and joy a light that also dares to illuminate the darker corners. She has put together an untraditional selection of well-known and lesser-known Christmas classics and made them entirely her own, both in message and tone. The focus lies on the American golden treasures, but you will also hear some beloved Norwegian favorites, beautifully refined by her fantastic band. A little off the standard Christmas track a warm and intimate affair.
