The Brief

A distinct musical universe with some of Sweden’s finest jazz musicians. Johan Lindström creates a world of his own, drawing inspiration from all directions. Calling it jazz feels too limiting - - even with some of Sweden’s leading jazz players in the band. With Humankind (2023), recorded at Atlantis Studio with an expanded ensemble, they present their most ambitious work to date - uncompromising, cinematic and free. After a period of large-scale projects, the band is finally back together, ready to deliver music that slowly builds - and hits hard.
