35, Karl Johans gate, Tullin, Sentrum, Oslo, 0162, Norge

The Brief

Large, Beautiful Spaces with Irregularities and Illusions With an expanded setup including two harps and prepared piano, acoustic instruments and electronics, as well as French and Norwegian musicians, OJKOS once again centers its work around collaboration and encounter. For his second project with the orchestra, Sol Léna–Schroll continues his exploration of rhythmic irregularities and metric illusions. Sol Léna-Schroll’s music brings together a wide range of influences - from noise to serial music - drawing inspiration from John Cage’s prepared piano and the improvised musical spaces of Eve Risser. Pianist Clément Merienne joins from Paris together with trumpeter Hector Léna-Schroll to contribute to this concert. Good to know: * Doors open at 19:00 * Age limit: 18 years
