The Brief

Some of Norway’s finest jazz musicians dive into the sound and spirit of Keith Jarrett’s European Quartet and the ECM era. Originally commissioned for Oslo Jazz Festival 2024, marking 50 years since the iconic Belonging was recorded in Oslo, the project was met with sold-out shows and great acclaim. Now the quartet returns with an extended concert, exploring the music of Jarrett, Garbarek, Danielsson and Christensen through personal and vivid interpretations of these timeless compositions.
