When Ghana’s rich highlife tradition meets modern funk and afrobeat, Santrofi is born. The eight-piece band from Accra, led by producer and bassist Emmanuel Kwadwo Ofori, is known for its infectious energy and raw grooves - and now they’re coming to Cosmopolite. With the debut album Alewa and the recent Making Moves, produced by Grammy winner Jerry Boys, Santrofi has taken international stages by storm — from Roskilde and WOMAD to sold-out shows across Japan.
