SPKRBOX: Beatur - Master of the Universe

Master of The Universe is Beatur's solo project, in which he draws on his personal story of growing up in an alcoholic party home in Reykjavik in the 90s. A raw, funny and musical performance about raising yourself and running from responsibility. About the eternal chase to fill the black hole and take as many shortcuts as possible. About living with the disease of self-deception and losing the ability to master your own life. The performance is produced by SPKRBOX. SPKRBOX is behind successes such as Blokk til blokk, Linje 5, Isbilen and Superkid, as well as the SPKRBOX Festival, a festival for the meeting between hip-hop and theatre.
