We follow Springsteen, played by Jeremy Allen White, during the period when he created the album Nebraska, released in 1982. At the time, he was a young musician trying to navigate the pressures of fame while confronting the shadows of his own past. The album was recorded on a four-track tape recorder in Springsteen’s own bedroom and became a pivotal moment in his life. It’s considered one of his most important works — a raw and deeply heartfelt acoustic record about lost souls searching for meaning.
