Description
Learn more about nature through drawing!
Join botanist and botanical illustrator, Jessica Nelson, and zoologist, Sarah Atherton, in this workshop where we will draw mosses, lichens, and microscopic animals. All materials are included.
Drawing is an excellent way to engage with nature, revealing details you might never otherwise notice. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to encounter life that is often only at the periphery of notice, like mosses, lichens, and the tiny animals living in them. With microscopes and collected samples from nature, dive into the details and make your own piece of nature art!
There will be a 30 minute presentation before the drawing session starts. All materials are provided.
No previous drawing experience is expected. The workshop will be led by biologist and botanical illustrator at the Natural History Museum in Oslo, Jessica Nelson and zoologist at the Swedish Museum of Natural History, Sarah Atherton.
Entrance to the museums exhibitions is included in the workshop ticket.
