With deep musical roots and a strong drive for innovation, four world-class jazz musicians have come together in The Art of the Quartet – a classic jazz quartet with a clear взгляд toward the future. Grounded in the jazz tradition and united by a shared desire to explore new musical territory, the band presents original compositions and fresh expressions inspired by everything from John Coltrane to jazz fusion and complex rhythms. The quartet debuted to great acclaim at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and has since toured extensively and recorded new music. Now they are coming to Oslo for the very first time – promising a concert full of power, nuance, and elegance.
