The Brief

A first, improvised meeting + playful seriousness with lots of light. Once again, we’re delighted to invite you to a Melting Pot celebration at the Jazz Scene. Five young talents from five different countries come together on stage as part of a tour that also stops at leading jazz festivals across Europe. SYMRE – Album Release Concert at Uhørt Songwriter SYMRE comes to Uhørt for the release concert of her debut album Ikkje noko for meg (February 27). With lyrics in the West Telemark dialect, marked by quirky humor and a playful sound drawing from jazz, rock, folk, and pop, the album features 11 tracks exploring familiar heartbreak, premature pessimism, and cheeky phrases. The full studio band is on stage, and the entire album will be performed and available for purchase.
