Two bands with lots of energy and enthusiasm for new paths come together for a joint effort. NEKSUS Nexus means to weave and connect. To be a nexus is to be a link, a hub or a connection between things. The band NEKSUS plays between improvisation and composition, acoustic and electronic, and finds the interaction/energy/friction that arises exactly there. What they find has both lyrical depth and raw energy. For us listeners, the terrain lies between jazz, progressive rock and electronic music; for them it is human/machine, breath/pulse, chance/program. This is exciting stuff and the debut album should be right around the corner! Superføkk is a bursting rapture project that sprawls in inexplicable angles. With inspiration from jazz and noise rock, electronica, prog and no-wave, the band has quickly grown from a small, dark studio at Bergen Kjøtt in autumn 2024 to a rock-solid debut album on Fysisk Format this September. The road there has been countless concerts around Bergen's biggest stages, the Eggstock festival and now finally a visit to Victoria! You'll hear fresh material in addition to the old 'hits' from the record, welcome to a hypnotic evening!
