The Brief

Kaja is an unstoppable little cell living in the kidney of ten-year-old Erik. She is curious and brave, but has a big problem: she cannot divide like all the other cells. Kaja is indivisible - and, in her own eyes, completely useless. Refusing to give up, she sets out on a dangerous and extraordinary journey through the body to learn how to divide. Along the way, she meets General Abel, sent to combat cells that spread out of control. Against all odds, an unexpected friendship forms between them. When Kaja realizes that Erik’s body is seriously ill, she must make a choice: should she continue her quest for her own happiness, or give everything to save Erik?
