SALT is one of Oslo’s most unique cultural venues, inspired by the traditional fish-drying racks of Northern Norway. Since its founding in 2014, SALT has grown into a vibrant gathering place for concerts, art, debates, sauna experiences, and cultural events along the waterfront at Langkaia. Rooted in the values of coastal culture – flexibility, community, and sustainability – SALT offers a diverse year-round program within a truly distinctive architectural setting. In 2021, SALT received the City of Oslo’s Art Award in recognition of its unique contribution to Oslo’s cultural life.
