Taran Scene

Taran AS is one of Norway’s largest private entertainment producers. For over 40 years, owner and founder Tor Arne Ranghus has brought entertainment to Norwegian audiences. He was the first in the country to organize Christmas concerts with renowned artists in churches across Norway, with the concert Stille natt, hellige natt (“Silent Night, Holy Night”). In the early 2000s, the company produced several major stage shows at Chat Noir and Klubben in Tønsberg, featuring artists such as Kåre Conradi, Elisabeth Andreassen, Øivind Blunck, Didrik Solli-Tangen, and Linn Skåber. Since 2017, Taran has produced musical theatre in the Grand Hall at Chateau Neuf in Oslo, with productions including The Jungle Book, Grease, Optimist, Flashdance, West Side Story, Jersey Boys, Sister Act, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical. In addition, large arena shows are presented in Oslo Spektrum, DnB Arena, and Trondheim Spektrum.
