One evening, one song - and the whole world was moved. Amy Belle was just a young, shy street artist from Glasgow when she was lifted into the spotlight by Rod Stewart. Together they performed I Don't Want to Talk About It at the Royal Albert Hall - a duet that has since been viewed nearly a billion times on social media. The audience was spellbound. A star was born. Now, 20 years later, Amy is once again ready to meet her audience - intimate, close and completely genuine - at Herr Nilsen in Oslo. Already at 16, Amy dropped out of school and headed to London to bet everything on music. There she started The Alice Band, which released several recordings - including Nothing On But The Radio, which was picked up by the Pepsi Chart in 2002. But it was only when she returned home to Glasgow and once again stood alone on the street playing, that the adventure truly began. Rod Stewart's people discovered her, and suddenly she was on stage with a legend. The duet changed everything. She was flown to Los Angeles, worked with superstars such as Chris Martin (Coldplay) and Tim Wheeler (Ash), released music and became the talk of the industry. Then it went quiet. Amy withdrew. She left the spotlight, started a family and put music aside - in complete silence. Now, two decades later, she has found her way back to her roots - and to herself. She is writing again. Making new music. And has even delivered songs to Miley Cyrus. On Wednesday 8 July she makes a rare, exclusive appearance at Herr Nilsen. It will be a concert packed with intimacy, emotion, new songs - and perhaps a couple of old favourites.
