Herr Nilsen

Herr Nilsen is an intimate pub, bar, and concert venue in the heart of Oslo, accommodating around 150 guests. Since opening in 1993, it has become a cornerstone of the city’s live music scene. The stage hosts everything from jazz and blues to americana and beyond, with regular concert series in collaboration with Oslo Jazzforum, Østkanten Blues Club, New Orleans Workshop Jazz Club, and the Norwegian Americana Forum. Known for its warm atmosphere and strong musical profile, Herr Nilsen stands as one of Oslo’s most important small venues.
