Description
On Saturday 28 November, Herr Nilsen will once again be packed when Gentle Groove returns with their legendary tribute to Led Zeppelin. This is the concert that year after year gathers both hardcore Zeppelin fans and new generations of rock lovers – and which almost always ends with a sold-out hall.
Since the late 90s, Gentle Groove has built a reputation as one of Europe's strongest Led Zeppelin tribute bands. With uncompromising musicality, enormous energy and a deep respect for the original material, the band takes the audience straight into the magical world of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham.
This is not just a tribute concert. It is a true rock experience.
The band has played some of Norway's biggest club stages, including Rockefeller, shared the stage with Deep Purple at the Drøbak festival and impressed Robert Plant himself during his after-party in connection with the Dreamland tour at John Dee. The iconic concert at Elm Street in Oslo was named concert of the year in Puls – and those who have experienced Gentle Groove live know why.
This evening you'll hear immortal classics like "Whole Lotta Love", "Rock And Roll", "Good Times Bad Times" and "Black Dog", alongside monumental masterpieces like "Kashmir", "No Quarter", "Dazed And Confused" and of course "Stairway To Heaven". All performed with great respect for the originals – complete with Jimmy Page's legendary double-neck guitar and the massive sound that made Led Zeppelin the world's biggest rock band.
At Herr Nilsen you get close to the music, the energy and the feeling. The sweat is in the walls, the sing-along starts early and the atmosphere usually boils long before the encores begin.
If you love Led Zeppelin, classic rock and a true live feeling, this is an evening you won't want to miss.
