Anders Jektvik

The Brief

Anders comes from the island of Hitra in Trøndelag, and since his breakthrough in 2012 has gained countless fans across the country with his warm folk rock where the striking lyrics span between the dark and the humorous. Jektvik himself describes the mood he wants to convey as "a mix between storytelling and a metaphorical pessimistic optimism". Between much desk work and recording, he has also held regular concerts since his last release - everything from solo concerts to large format with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. « -This is innate, you know, so eventually a desire and passion forces its way through.
