Ao Vivo with Helle Brunvoll

The Brief

The band Ao Vivo (meaning “where we live”) features Helle Brunvoll, Magne Arnesen, Hans Mathisen, Espen Hauge, and Andreas Bye – all based in Vestfold and among Norway’s finest musicians in their field. For this project, they reinterpret the music of Brazilian composer, pianist, and vocalist Ivan Lins. Expect captivating and vibrant arrangements blending samba, bossa nova, Brazilian jazz, funk, and pop – music full of soulful melodies and poetic lyrics.
