Caledonia Jazzband & Norbert Susemihl

As a guest soloist, Caledonia is joined by the German-born trumpeter Norbert Susemihl. Born in Hamburg in 1956, he has had a close connection to New Orleans since the late 1970s, performing with both older and younger generations of musicians and recording with several legends of the genre. Today, Susemihl is regarded as one of the leading trumpeters in the New Orleans style and regularly tours as a guest soloist in Europe and the United States.
