The Brief

Nothing is quite conventional about Paul-Ronney Angel; a true Gypsy Rock'N'Roll troubadour with roots from Herøy in Northern Norway. From 1992 to 2022 he lived in London. Now he lives in Oslo, and is the frontman of London-based The Urban Voodoo Machine alongside his solo career. In 2023 he released the single 'Thank God This Bar Is Closing' together with Casino Steel which climbed to No. 2 on the British charts. His musical inspirations range from Delta Blues, New Orleans Jazz, Outlaw Country, Spaghetti Western, Punk Rawk, Flamenco, Ska, & Good Old Rock'N'Roll. Claudia Scott (duo) Last year's new release «The Belle of Singapore» won the prestigious Spellemannprisen on April 24, and also received the prize for best album at Fjording 2025. This heartwarming album deals largely with processing grief and loss, and is dedicated to Claudia's grandmother. With tasteful touches of pedal steel guitar, Hammond organ, restrained percussion and Scott's own baritone guitar and soulful performance, songwriter Scott has created a personal album. Claudia comes from strong roots in the Country genre, and has developed her own style within the genre. On stage this evening she is joined by the talented Olav Torgeir Kopsland. In 2024 she received several awards recognizing her songwriting craft, including the Rolf Gammleng veteran award and the honorary award. Good to know: * Age limit 20+
