The Brief

Remo Manfredini is a legendary jockey, but his self-destructive habits threaten his career. Together with his girlfriend Abril, he moves through the criminal underworld of Buenos Aires, tied to the gangster Sirena, who bankrolls his life. Fueled by doping and substance abuse, Remo keeps going - but disaster is inevitable. El Jockey is a visually striking black comedy that blends film noir, surrealism, absurd dance sequences, and breathless horse races.
