The Brief

Release Concert - In March 2026, Elin Furubotn releases her tenth album, Det nære (The Close) – a musical portrait of life as it actually feels: close, imperfect, humorous and real. She is joined on stage by a strong musical lineup; Bugge Wesseltoft (piano, percussion, who also produced her album), Frode Alnæs (electric guitar) and Nils Økland (fiddle/Hardanger fiddle). Together with Elin on guitar and harmonium, they explore a musical landscape where ballads, jazz and folk music meet with improvisation, warmth and presence as a common language. Elin Furubotn is one of the country's most distinctive and respected ballad singers. The audience can expect a rare concert experience, with poignant lyrics, good melodies and a distinctive voice, she creates, together with the country's most acclaimed musicians, a concert you won't want to miss.
