The Brief

Welcome to Cohen in Norwegian – a powerful and atmospheric concert built around Leonard Cohen’s timeless songs, interpreted in Norwegian. Through poetic lyrics, dynamic arrangements, and expressive guitar solos, the audience is taken on a journey from the intimate and delicate to the intense and dramatic. Since 2019, the project has performed 19 concerts across Norway, including appearances at Litteraturhuset in Bergen and Teateret in Kristiansand. Fronted by Emma Remine Reisvaag Sunde (vocals), the band features Geir Bjørknes Grande (guitar), Kjell Martin Sirnes (drums/percussion), Ole Kelly Kvamme (bass), and Arne Marthinsen (piano).
