Description
Using the lyrical universe of deLillos as both a framework and inspiration, director Rikke Gregersen has created a warm and humorous drama about the transition from young adulthood to adulthood, with Oslo as its backdrop. If you enjoyed The Worst Person in the World, chances are there’s plenty here for you to love. Starring Steinar Klouman Hallert, Sarah Francesca Brænne and Fredrik Stenberg Ditlev-Simonsen in key roles.
From Wednesday, August 26 to Sunday, August 30, we’re creating a brand-new experience at one of Norway’s most spectacular festival venues: Welcome to OverOslo Outdoor Cinema! For the very first time, the festival’s main stage will be replaced by a giant cinema screen, with seating for everyone in the grandstand and amphitheatre – and the night sky as our ceiling. Films start at 9:15 PM every evening.
And what a programme! We’re presenting no fewer than two exclusive Norwegian premieres: the action thriller En nasjon i sjakk, based on the bestselling novel of the same name, and Suser avgårde, a true feel-good story set in Oslo and inspired by the lyrical universe of deLillos.
Add to that a 25th-anniversary screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, featuring 12 minutes of additional footage, plus Interstellar, and you have a star-studded programme across four late-summer evenings.
Under the stars. On top of Oslo.
