The Brief

With a sold-out premiere at Nieu, we’re excited to welcome Aleksander Økland back to the stage. FOLKEHELT is a raw and honest stand-up show with no filter. With his original style, Økland gives the audience a sharp and hilarious glimpse into his own absurd reality. Since 2015, Aleksander Økland has been one of Norway’s most active comedians. He has performed on stages such as Latter, Ole Bull Scene, Ricks and Folken, and has opened for well-known comedians including Bård Tufte-Johansen, Atle Antonsen, Dag Sørås and Jonis Josef. Økland has also appeared at festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe, Stand Up Deluxe, Harstad Stand Up Festival and Oslo Humorfest.
