The Brief

Sixteen-year-old Sebastian lives a sheltered life in a small town. When his family takes in Kolja, the fifteen-year-old son of a deceased friend of Sebastian’s father, everything changes. At first, the two boys keep their distance, but gradually they open up to each other and eventually realize they are closer than they thought. They are brothers. Sebastian’s world is turned upside down when he falls in love for the first time – with Kolja. Overwhelmed by their feelings, the boys keep the relationship a secret. But when the truth comes to light, the family is ostracized by the small community, and an emotional rollercoaster begins for everyone involved.
