Håkon Høye (aka The Hawk) is a key figure in the Norwegian blues scene, known from Oslo’s legendary Muddy Waters club and as a long-time member of Billy T Band and Joakim Tinderholt Band. With two acclaimed albums – including the Spellemann-nominated Nights At The Surf Motel – he’s now working on new material. Live, he’s joined by The HoneyTones: Kasper Værnes (saxophone), Per Tobro (bass), and Vetle Larsen (drums). Together they serve up a powerful gumbo of blues, soul, americana, and garage rock – with soul, grit, and unstoppable energy. Photo: Oda Hveem (Visuello)
