Henning Andersen has quickly established himself as a songwriter with a rare ability to gather some of the country's very best musicians around him. When he takes the stage at Herr Nilsen, he brings a formidable lineup: the legend Freddy Holm, guitar giant Marius Lien, rock veteran Danny Young, and multi-instrumentalist Sander Eriksen Nordahl. With three albums in four years and recordings from Charleston, USA – together with the likes of Wolfgang Zimmerman (Band of Horses) – Andersen has developed an expression that moves seamlessly between indie rock, folk, blues, and psychedelic landscapes.
