A brave elephant sets out on a journey to save the inhabitants of a microscopic city. One day, the kind-hearted elephant Horton hears a faint voice coming from a tiny speck of dust. It turns out the speck is home to a microscopic city called Whoville. The city is inhabited by tiny creatures known as Whos, and now they need help. They live in constant danger, and no one else can see or hear them. The other animals in the jungle believe Horton is imagining everything. But Horton is a loyal elephant. He decides to carry Whoville and its tiny inhabitants to a place where they can be safe. The film is based on a children’s book by Dr. Seuss, who is widely beloved in the United States and known for his distinctive stories filled with creative rhymes and rhythms. His works include classics such as The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, all of which have been adapted into films. Good to know: * Language: Norwegian * Age rating: 6+
