Johnny English

The Brief

Johnny English is a confident yet incompetent secret agent working for the British MI7. When all the other agents are killed, it falls to him to uncover who has stolen the Crown Jewels. The trail leads to a wealthy Frenchman who dreams of becoming king. Johnny English is a parody of the spy genre, particularly the James Bond films. The screenplay was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who are also behind several Bond films. The lead role is played by Rowan Atkinson, one of Britain’s most famous comedians, known for his physical style of performance and the character Mr. Bean.
