Knut Anders Sørum - Christmas

In December 2026, Knut Anders Sørum and his band return to Kulturkirken Jakob to perform a Christmas concert. As before, you'll get a mix of well-known and beloved Christmas songs along with songs from the album «Jul» (2021). Sørum brings a band consisting of Jon Anders Narum on guitar, Jan Tore Øverstad on bass, Trond Augland on drums and Bård Kristian Kylland/Benjamin Medhaug on organ. These are highly skilled musicians who are both sensitive and groovy at the same time, and you will experience both the grand, powerful moments but also the intimate and quiet moments where the stories of Christmas, both in our time and in earlier times, are told by the now experienced storyteller Knut Anders Sørum. The audience will encounter some of the most beautiful Christmas songs ever written, from Prøysen, the hymn book and newer times. In addition, Sørum will of course perform Christmas songs he himself has co-written in recent years, such as "Uten deg" (2018) and from the album "Jul". In 2021 Knut Anders Sørum released the album "Jul" to good reviews. Welcome to this year's Christmas concert with Knut Anders Sørum at Kulturkirken Jakob!
