The Quartet Series opens the season with Animato Kwartet from the Netherlands – featuring Norway’s own Inga Våga Gaustad as first violinist! At 6:30 PM, Juliet Jopling from our Artistic Council will host “Behind the Notes”, an introduction to the evening’s program (in English). Widely recognized as the most promising young string quartet in the Netherlands, Animato Kwartet has already won an impressive number of awards. In Oslo, they will perform, among other works, Amanda Röntgen-Maier’s rare and romantic quartet – a piece that truly deserves a wider audience.
