Lars Beckstrøm, known from deLillos as bassist, vocalist and songwriter behind some of the band's most cherished songs, brings his own quartet to Oslo for an evening filled with powerful lyrics, warm melodies and musical character. Here you'll hear songs that have taken root in the Norwegian soul – like Den feite mannen, Balladen om Kåre og Nelly, Søster, Uten deg and Nittenåttifire – alongside highlights from his critically acclaimed solo career. Beckstrøm has released a number of solo albums that have been brilliantly received, with radio favorites like Svigermor, Skjebne and Et eksperiment. On his latest album Gjest i mitt liv he collaborates with musicians he has played with over a long time – something that is felt in the tight, lively and dynamic soundscape on stage.
