The Brief

Lodin Lepp is an Oslo-based soul band with a horn section that has been going strong without interruption since 1999. With a steady lineup of 10 members, we are set up for significant amounts of funky, cold sweat and high party energy at our concerts. We’re not pretending to be a party band. This is what we’ve been doing for 25 years! The songs from the list of about 160 numbers the band has played over the years range this time from soul classics from the 60s and funky, danceable grooves from the 70s to a well-chosen selection of more recent tunes. Lodin Lepp is eager to play, and ready to deliver the goods at Herr Nilsen. There will be life here!! Lodin Lepp consists of Niels Morten Foss & Ola Ødegård (vocals), Stephen Shepard (drums & vocals), Harald Sundt-Ohlsen (guitar), Arild Schou (bass), Hans Philip Einarsen (electric piano), Ole Georg Moseng (Hammond organ & harmonica), Kristoffer Søbakk (tenor sax), Morten Eriksen (trombone) & Kjetil Kristensen (trumpet & flugelhorn).
